Congratulations Dr. Gustavo Facincani Dourado for successfully publishing the last chapter of your dissertation in the Environmental Research Letters.

In this paper, Dr. Facincani Dourado and collaborators examined different water projects in the Central Sierra Nevada to identify the yearly water flow and allocation strategies. Additionally, they assessed how climate change will affect the reliability and resilience of the different basins. This paper recommends an adaptation strategy as a first step toward rethinking environmental water allocation in California.
