SAI – Summer Ag Institute
SAI is a week-long program designed for FARMERS undergraduate and graduate scholars. SAI offers an immersive ag-tech experience where each day is dedicated to visits and consultations with regional ag-tech companies. SAI scholars are able immerse themselves in a day in the life of an employee as SAI collaborates with local companies to provide walkthroughs of company facilities and advise of potential career opportunities for those interested in pursuing a career in ag-tech. Companies that we have collaborated in the past include: Blue Diamond Growers, The Morning Star Packaging Company, and Hilmar Cheese Factory. SAI also offers valuable leadership experience for scholars, as attendees are provided with a hands-on leadership workshop where you’ll be able to learn and hone leadership qualities we believe will be crucial to your success in the ag-tech field.
